Catalog Description

A review of swimming form, cardiovascular basics and general principles of exercise, as well as an introduction to the next level of fitness swimming and the use of heart rate measurement to determine high and low aerobic zones. The course will also emphasize range of motion, body alignment, and strength building.

Hours of Operation (08/16/2022 - 12/12/2022): Monday 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Tuesday & Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 8 a.m.; Tuesday & Thursday, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Orientation: A required orientation must be completed before pool use can begin. Orientation will be done through CANVAS for enrolled students (PREFERRED METHOD). There maybe in-person orientation at the pool, as State and City Public Health guidance allows. "Student Information" and "Health and Assumption of Risk Waiver" must be completed and submitted.
