College reading, writing, and critical thinking with a major research component. Reading, writing, and research assignments are based predominantly on non-fiction texts.
Section Notes
This section is an in-person class with scheduled meetings at Ocean campus. This section requires the use of Canvas. Coursework is completed on Canvas using an internet-enabled device. This section is linked to the TRIO Writing Success Project. A tutor supports students in the class, offers weekly small group meetings on Zoom, and students can connect to additional coaching, advising, and other student support activities. See for more info.
