Fundamentals in feature writing for magazines and newspapers with special emphasis on profile and interpretive news features. This course provides practical experience in interview and in-depth research techniques. Training in how to write a freelance story for publication.

This is an in-person course that meets the requirement for the AA and AA-T degree in journalism and the certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation in Journalism. It is also a recommended course for the certificates in Data Journalism and Editorial Management & Design. The course also prepares you for work on in-print and online newspapers and magazines , as well as in public relations and marketing.
