Catalog Description
Using the lens of social justice, this class will explore basic concepts and theories for analyzing dynamics of ethnic group experiences, particularly those represented in California, and their relation to colonization, immigration, gender, problems of identity, racism, and social class.

This class requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm at Mission Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 16 weeks. For more information, check the .
