Catalog Description
This course will address the history of photography from its invention until 1945. Included are discussions and illustrated lectures of the lives and achievements of important photographers and processes of the time. Students visit museums to view photographs and participate in class discussions.
Section Notes
This class requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Wednesdays on the Ocean Campus with time allotted for field trips to museum and gallery visits during class. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. Students may use the computer lab in the
