Overview of sensory motor development in young children; developmentally appropriate sensory motor activities and experiences; and the relationship of physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development to brain development in young children.

CDEV 98 is a degree applicable course focusing on activities and programs that support sensory and motor development critical for healthy growth and development. This is the foundation for all development and learning.

PREREQ: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in: CDEV 53 Recommended Preparation, ESL 186 or placement in ESL 188 or readiness for college-level English
