Special sewing techniques for garments made from knitted fabrics, such as t-shirts, pants, and activewear. Pattern modifications for stretch knits. Students will construct garments while learning how to work with knitted fabrics, including ribbed finishes, elastic edgings, and special seam types.

Provides practical experience in the retail/wholesale environments. Emphasis will be placed on the role of fashion in the workplace. One unit of credit is earned for 54 hours of unpaid or paid work.
