Introduction to Sociology

Designed for general education or those students majoring in one of the Behavioral Sciences. Introduction to human interaction from the sociological perspective and through the utilization or sociological concepts, theories and principles. Topics include culture, socialization, organizations, deviance, stratification, institutions, population, and social change.

Research Methods

An introduction to research methods in psychology. This course presents how researchers in psychology use critical analysis, theories, and methods to generate usable information. Emphasis on research design, experimental procedures, instrumentation, qualitative methods, and the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of findings. Attention is paid to strategies to decolonize psychological research.
