This course prepares students to diagnose and repair automotive manual and automatic transmission units. Includes specialized training in the use of specialized lifts and factory scantools. Preparation for the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) A-2 and A-3 tests.

Introduction to visual perception, concepts, methods and applications of two-dimensional design across visual art disciplines and platforms. Self-expression and creative problem-solving through studio art projects. Lecture presentations, readings, verbal articulation, and critiques to develop visual literacy. Study of design theory with a focus on interdependence of content, form and context, combined with visual analysis of art from different eras and cultures.

A second course in Geometry: Aside from learning the skills and concepts of angles, triangles, polygons, polyhedra, and spheres, students will develop their ability to construct formal, logical arguments and proofs in geometric settings and problems.

This ¾«Ñ¡AV Custodial Supervisor Training Course covers aspects of managing two or more employees. Geared toward students who have been a custodian/janitor for two years or more and who want to get to the next level in their career.

Last laboratory course in a calculus-based four-semester sequence. Core topics include experiments in modern physics, including the Michelson interferometer, photoelectric effect, longitudinal laser modes, Zeeman effect, and atomic spectra.

PHYC 2BC expands on topics covered in PHYC 2B with applications of calculus to problems in physics. Together with PHYC 2B and 2BL, PHYC 2BC may meet lower division requirements for life science majors at various universities.
