This course covers wireless communications systems, industrial communication protocols, and industrial control systems, including programmable logic controllers. Analog and digital systems will be explored. The course also provides an introduction to antennas, amplifiers, and microwave signals.
Practical strategies to build and strengthen cognitive function for students with mild acquired brain injury. Focus is on improving attention, memory, organization, planning, reasoning, and communication in a supportive group setting. Tasks include following directions, problem-solving, and verbal skills.
Second semester of intermediate training level under supervised professional in a medical center with performance of ultrasound procedures and other noninvasive cardiac procedures. Emphasis on performing echocardiograms on inpatients in critical care units and completing reports in patient archiving systems. Placement is determined by program officials. One unit of credit is earned for 54 hours of unpaid or paid work.

This is the adjunct course to CVT 210B, Professional Work Experience. The course instructor will oversee the student?s continuing echocardiographic skills development in the CVT ECHO Skills Lab in the college setting. There will be oversight and support of students in their medical center internships (professional work experience).

Overview of trades, design and management, occupations connected to building projects. Introduction to use of project documents, plans and specifications, as well as relevant green technologies in the construction field. Practice with measuring and using hand and power tools.
Applied competency-based course designed to prepare students entering the construction, automotive, or custodial trades. Practical applications to trades math will prepare students for trades tests, success in content classes, and work in the field.
